Healing Reins of Kentucky is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to providing therapeutic benefits through horses. The organization serves a wide variety of individuals, regardless of ability, and is affiliated with PATH International, the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship. As a recognized member center, Healing Reins upholds the standards and practices set by PATH International in all its programs

Partnership with Blue Moon Stables

Blue Moon Stables acts as the host facility for Healing Reins, offering support for both individual and group adaptive horsemanship sessions. Bevond horsemanship lessons, Healing Reins also creates "Equine Experiences," which are specially developed programs for local individuals, groups and nonprofit organizations. These experiences provide unique opportunities to interact with horses and benefit from their therapeutic qualities

PATH certified instructors work closely with Blue Moon Stables to ensure smooth coordination of facility and horse usage for all Healing Reins programs. This collaborative approach enables both Blue Moon students and Healing Reins participants to eniov an inclusive and supportive environment at the stables. The partnership is focused on making horses and the stables accessible to everyone, fostering a sense of community and belonging for all involved
